I’ve been making things since I was a kid: taking apart and rebuilding stuff my dad trash-picked before it went to the landfill. I built and broke my way through electronics, mechanical systems, software, and eventually got into embedded systems. I’ve been biking, camping, and hiking since I was a toddler. I still do all of that, and I enjoy making things as much as I did when I was ten (I’m a little better at it now though). Scout is the map device I wanted to exist, so I built it in my workshop in Kent, Ohio. I also run dicemakers.com and homsher.com. Here’s more about what I make.
